Product Development Engineer

HaA Design is currently seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer to join our growing international team of professional designers, developers, and engineers. The Product Development Engineer is responsible for a wide range of project based tasks along various stages in the development process. This may include brainstorming, CAD modeling, detailed drawings creation, procurement, testing, prototype assembly, specification writing, and other detailed documentation support.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Mechanical, Biomedical, Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering field.
• 2-3 years experience in commercial design
• Must have strong communications skills and be comfortable working in cross functional teams
• Must be motivated and capable of working with minimal direction.
• Experience in being part of project teams in the design and development of complex systems from concept thru transfer into production.
• Hands-on involvement in design, input specifications, concept and feasibility activities, development engineering, prototyping, and testing.
• Knowledge in software packages used to support product development activities such as computer assisted engineering and design software (SolidWorks preferred), MS Project, and MS Office.

Desired:

• Regulatory testing / validation experience a plus.
• Experience in statistical methods, protocol development, and qualification testing and reporting.
